International Financial Institutions (IFIs) are penetrating deeper into the fabric of Indian society. We have been involved for over three decades in research and campaigns to not only make these institutions accountable but to also present alternatives to centralised institutions which collaborate and even direct state policy and have far-reaching adverse social, cultural, economic and ecological consequences.
